Regionals 2011

We just completed our 2011 Regional tournament at Soboba Country Club. Overall we played well and finished tied for second place. Team captain Kevin Anderson tied for 1st place. I played solidly and tied for 16th overall. It was a fun trip and the team is excited to prepare for the national tournament, which will be held in Indiana during the middle of May. I am excited with how my game is coming around and am looking forward playing in my next event.

Spring Break

Wow, time has been flying by. Spring break is gone and the semester is half over. I have been keeping busy with classes and golf. For spring break I went down to Arizona to see my family and golf coach, Drew Reid. It was great to see my family again and to play some golf with my little brother John and my dad. I have been working hard on my game and am starting to play better. Drew and I worked on quite a few things and I am excited with the progress we have made. These pictures are from Quintero, which is one of my favorite courses. My next tournament is coming up soon and will be in Iowa.

The Mustang Cup

This past weekend I finished competing in the Mustang Cup Alumni golf tournament. The team had a great time. It was fun to meet and reconnect with past players from the Master’s team. Congrats to team captain Kevin Anderson who took home the cup with a final round 69. Our next tournament is a one day event on Friday the 4th followed by a tournament on the 6th through the 8th.

Back To School

I just arrived back in LA for my second semester at The Master's College. I am very excited about the new season and am looking forward to getting started. I had a great Christmas break and was able to spend time with my family. I also spent two weeks in Arizona working on my game with my instructor Drew Reid. We made some great changes and improvements and I am looking forward to seeing the results on the course. Thank you to everyone who has been following me. It is awesome to have so much support and encouragement.
