I just completed the Grays Harbor Pro-AM. I finished third in the Amateur division. I shot back to back rounds of 72. In the last two weeks I have made much progress with my long game and have been striking the ball well. Putting has not been as good, but I now know what I need to focus on to get my scores lower. It was a great weekend and I learned a lot about myself as well as how I need to improve my golf game. I am looking forward to a great fall season.

AJGA
I just completed the AJGA Junior at Wenatchee. I tied for 21st out of 71 players. The field consisted of players from 12 states and Canada. This has been my highest finish in an individual AJGA event so far. My scores for the three days were 75, 73, and 74. I had the potential to shoot some very low numbers but had a couple of bad holes. I was happy that I made 11 birdies for the three days. It really seems as if my game is starting to come together. I just have to work on eliminating some of the little mistakes. Overall it was a great experience and I look forward to my next tournament. On Saturday I am flying to Arizona for a week to work on my game and see family and friends. My next event is the Grays Harbor Pro-Am August 29th-30th.

Next up on my schedule is the AJGA Junior at Wenatchee. The tournament starts on Tuesday the 11th and goes until the 13th. On Saturday following the tournament I will be flying to Arizona for a week to work on my game and catch up with family and friends. I am really excited about the next two weeks and hope to play well in Wenatchee.
