Nevada

I finished up my AJGA tournament in Nevada and just arrived home. The trip was amazing and I had a great time. It was my first time to Nevada and I was very impressed with the area of Henderson. The golf course, Anthem Country Club, was one of the nicest courses I have been to. It was windy during the event and the course was very difficult, stretching to almost 7400 yards. Unfortunately, I didn't play as well as I would have liked, but I learned a great deal from my rounds and have an idea what I should work on before my next event. One of the highlights of the tournament came after the first round when Butch Harmon gave a clinic on the range. My next tournament is the Grays Harbor Men's Amateur in Aberdeen, Washington on June 20-21st, followed by the Washington State Amateur in Pullman, Washington on June 23-26th.

  1. What's up with the first hole? It must be one tough one.
