Jamboree

Yesterday I completed my senior year jamboree. My team won the event for the first time in over eight years. I was able to take medalist by shooting a 4 under nine hole round of 31. The highlight of the day came on the first hole, a par five. I hit my second shot to three inches and had a nice tap in for eagle. My game really came together and I was six under through the first seven holes. Unfortunately I bogeyed the last two holes to shoot 31. It was a still great day though. This round has given me confidence that I can make a lot of birdies and take it low. It was great to see my team win.

  1. How cool is that! Congrats on the super low score. Is that a school record? That is the exact number that is the school record at the school I coached at which by the way was on TV on ESPN last week for the high school football game of the week -- Colerain.

  2. Great playing, must have made a few putts I assume? Get a little nervous thinking about a 29?

  3. Thanks Drew. I was making a lot of putts =). Yes, I was a little nervous obout the 29 but it has been a great learning experience. It really showed me that I can take it low.

  4. Nice going Nolan. Good to hear that your putter is working better, not the cause of the two bogeys I hope. Six under for 7 holes is pretty impressive. Your golf future looks very promising. Gotta stay ahead of John, ya know! And don't forget about Cody! Keep it going kid.

  7. Thanks Cody. How is everything going with you? I should be back down in December right after fall quarter ends. That would be fun if we could get together and play.
